Candle Care
Following these steps for proper burning will help to extend the life of your candle and ensure a safe enjoyable experience.
When lighting a new candle allow it to burn long enough to create an even wax pool across the surface (2-4 hours depending on candle size)
Before each burn ensure that you trim or pinch your wick to be no more than 1/4″ in length. This will help to prevent tunnelling.
If tunnelling does occur, extinguish your candle and wait for it to cool before gently scraping the excess wax from the side of your candle vessel. once you have a level surface again you can relight your candle. You want to try and have an even wax pool across your candle every time you burn it.
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Overburning can shorten the life of your candle and can also cause the wick to move which could create a safety hazard.
Always burn your candles on a stable and draft-free surface. Discontinue use when only 1/4″ – 1/2″ of wax remains.
KEEP BURNING CANDLES AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.
